Opening days to the public
Hac Castle is open to the public from May to August from Sunday to Thursday. A guide will accompany you throughout the visit of the castle’s interiors and exteriors, followed by a visit to the castle’s gardens. The tour time of the castle’s interiors: 45 minutes.
Visits by groups of more than 20 people can be done throughout the year by appointment. To book them; Send an email to contact@chateaudehac.fr.
Animals are not allowed on the site. Only guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired are accepted.
Strollers are not allowed inside the castle to preserve the floors and furniture but the rest of the estate is accessible to them.
Opening times and dates: 13:00-19:00 from May 1 to August 31.

Parking free but not kept: we regret to disclaim any responsibility in case of theft or damage. We recommend that you leave no valuables in your vehicles. Thank you for your understanding.
For PMRs, you have private single-storey access through the entrance gate (thank you for ringing to be welcomed). Visiting the castle can be difficult for people with disabilities. Features put in place:

Castle: Visit the ground floor only.
We thank you for not taking photographs inside the castle which is still inhabited.
For safety and conservation reasons, it is strictly forbidden to fly a drone over the monument and its gardens.
Health information: Mandatory wearing of the mask in the castle for anyone over the age of 11 (Article 27 of the decree 2020-663 of 31 May 2020) but not in the gallant gardens. We do not distribute or sell masks on site. Remember to bring your own mask so you can enter the castle. We also thank you for respecting the barrier gestures and distance instructions.

45 minutes from St Malo and Rennes, the castle is accessible in the summer from May to August, from Sunday to Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and by appointment all year round for groups.

De Rennes, prendre la départementale D137 en direction de Saint Malo. Prendre la D20 en direction de Tinténiac/Bécherel, puis suivre la direction de Le Quiou, et les panneaux Château de Hac.
De Saint Malo, prendre la départementale D137 en direction de Rennes. Prendre la sortie en direction de Pleugueneuc/Plesder/Évran, continuer sur la D78 vers Le Quiou puis suivre les panneaux Château de Hac.

À vélo
Le château est situé sur une voie verte, la V3, qui passe par le centre-bourg du Quiou (devant l’ancienne gare) : pour venir, suivez la direction St-Méen-le-Grand / Rhuys. Suivez le tracé de la voie verte vers le sud (direction Plouasne) si vous partez d’Évran ou de Dinan. Nous possédons tous les équipements nécessaires pour accueillir les cyclistes dans les meilleures conditions. Group visits
If you would like to organise a group visit, please contact us by phone or email for a guided tour of the castle and its free tour of the gardens. Group visits are organized outside of public visits.
If you wish, you have the possibility to organise, after the visit, snacks/lunches according to your tastes, do not hesitate to contact us for this.

Nous sommes heureux d'accueillir les scolaires pour leur montrer une architecture digne des ducs de Bretagne.
Une visite ludique et participative pour le cycle 1 et le cycle 2 en lien avec les programmes scolaires. Un livret jeu sera fourni pour revenir aux points essentiels.
